Lately, I’ve been trying to think of more ways to be more useful with my time. I like to work as efficiently as possible when it comes to work, but I figured why not factor that into my life as a whole? I get super lazy otherwise, which ironically contributes to my lack of (hour long) break taking while I’m at work. Taking breaks allows you to maximize your productivity so I figured that a fool proof way of maximizing that is by making that conscious effort to get up and go on these walks/runs. Not only would it serve as a refresher, but it’d be my daily cardio work out too! Now listen.. I’m a suuuuuuper slow walker because I have a strong desire to stop and admire things, but since I know how much allotted amount of time I have I know I’ll have to beat the clock and walk faster/longer/etc. That in itself, should serve as good motivation to walk faster. I have a few walks mapped out already going in so many directions (Gramercy/Union Square/The Village/Chelsea), so I’m excited for this new “project!” Wish me luck and send some good tuneage my way! :)
